A nursery school that offers a 'consciousness-based education' has been praised by Ofsted. Inspectors said that at St Mark's Nursery School in Primrose Hill, London, 'children have the ability to reflect and have peaceful moments within the setting (and) significant opportunities to share their feelings and beliefs'. Founder and headteacher Sheema Parsons said, 'It shows that a consciousness-based school develops not just the three Rs but the whole child.'
